WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR FIRST APPOINTMENT

STEP 1: CONSULTATION (15-20 MIN)

This is where we’ll have you fill out a consent form, review your medical health, and get to know you and your brow goals. We’ll discuss your shape preferences and brow pigment color.

STEP 2: BROW MAPPING (20 MIN) AND PRE-NUMB (10 MIN)

Using our measuring tools, we’ll custom design a brow outline that’s best proportioned to your facial features and bone structure. We’ll both review the design and make any adjustments necessary. Once the brows are approved, we’ll clean up the shape, apply pre numb, and get started!

STEP 3: MICROBLADING (60 MIN)

Your brows are ready to begin their transformation! This is where we manually draw each individual hair by inserting pigment under the first layer of the skin using a handheld microblade tool. We only use sterile and disposable tools and are compliant with all regulations by the Mecklenburg county health department.

STEP 4: SHADING (40-60 MIN), IF APPLICABLE

Shading is done after Microblading. So if you are hesitate on whether you want shading or not, you have the option to see what it looks like with Microblading alone at this point. You can decide to do shading at during your first appointment, or wait to see how it heals and possibly add it at your touch up. Shading is done with by machine. Pigment is placed in between the Microbladed strokes for a nice soft blended background.

STEP 5: AFTERCARE

We did it! Your ready to show off your new brows to the world! We will review after care instructions with you and provide you with an aftercare kit that includes everything you’ll need for the initial healing period of 7-10 days. It’s crucial that you follow the aftercare instructions to achieve the best results and retention for your brows.

WHILE YOUR SKIN HEALS, BE PREPARED FOR THE COLOR INTENSITY OF YOUR PROCEDURE TO BE SIGNIFICANTLY LARGER, SHARPER, BRIGHTER, OR DARKER than what is expected for the final outcome. This is a normal and expected result of the application and healing process. The healing process will take a number of days to complete, depending on how quickly the outer layer of your skin exfoliates and new skin regrows to take its place.
